In the series DD/MM there are violent acts and contexts or situations filtered by violence from everywhere in the world.
As a personal atlas of ephemeral locations, these images – obtained mostly from CCTV and home videos or published in the printed press – are reproduced in oil paintings respecting the low chromatic spectrum of the each take. An example of this is the painting February 12 (J.B.) that represents the scene recorded by a video surveillance circuit from a mall at Bootle (nearby Liverpool, UK) that shows the moment when two children kidnap James Bulger. In December 5 (Westroads Mall) someone is about to enter another mall: it’s Robert Hawkins, who with his camouflaged semiautomatic riffle caused a tragedy at the town of Omaha in Nebraska.
